position of front hight speakers

As the header says is it wider the better to position the speakers,dont know what would be best as tv and other speakers are in the corner of room,thanks

Would need to see a pic, but you should have your L/R speakers at ear height and the same distance from the TV....buT

I have a chimney breast and was not happy with both L/R under the TV with the Centre so put the Left on the other side of the breast.

I find it ok, but ieadly would like the to be about 3-4 foot each end from the tv.

canada16 I am asking about the speakers that go above the two fronts,as I have bought a pair of iq 50 kefs as my new front two,so as to utilize my privious fronts i am going to use them as two speakers above the floor standers to get the best out of my denon 2310,thanks.

those should be about three feet above the front speakers if I am not wrong, even higher will be good i think.

that will depend on how wide your fronts are and if it is possible to put them wider due to room size, they should be front facing so not too close to the wall if possible, IMO
