Hi,

I'm looking for a new Hulk HDTV to buy. Mainly for Sports as I'm a sports and secondly for movies. Some SD and of course HD/Blu Ray viewing.

Money is no concerning factor.

What is a better HDTV?

1- Pnasonic TX-P65V10 vs. Sony KDL-55X4500.

2- My Room is 14 feet x 12 feet ( 4.4m x3.7m) and seating distance is 13.5 feet( 4meter ). Is the room size and seating distance justifying a 65" TV or it won't be clear.

Thanks

If money is no concern you might as well go for the best:

1. Philips 56PFL9954H

2. Pioneer BDP-LX6090.

I thought the BDP looked stranged in your tv reviews section?

I would go for the Pioneer KRP 600A or PDP- LX6090 if money is no concern. They're the best TVs ever to be made. Of the two you've chosen, it really depends on whether you prefer LCD or plasma. For such a big screen size, I would personally prefer a plasma, which makes Panasonic TX-P65V10 my choice.

Andrew Everard:It's a PDP, not a BDP.

Thanks for clarifying this point.

The issue is that there are no more Pioneers in my area and that is why I opted for those two models. I have been a sony fan for years and I have the 46" X-4500 and very happy with it. but it is time to move to the larger screen with the World Cup in mind. So this is where it gets confusing.

Seating Distance, Clarity, Contrast..etc. Never had a plasma before and somewhat weary of them. Therefore I seek advice.

Thanks

In the back of what hi fi magazines they used to have seating distance clarification, I don't know if this is still the case?

Plasma these days are very similar to lcd - no need for gas or anything. Probaly just darker colours from what I have seen.
