Hi Guys, is it still worth to get the old amp like audiolab 8000a or I should get a new one other model? got £200 to spend, was thinking of Cambridge 640v2, 8000a, creek 4040 s2 etc.. For speaker mission 731, please advise, thanks. Cheers.

I was never a big fan of the Audiolab, so I'd be choosing a spanking new Onkyo A-9010 or Marantz PM6005 - the recently replaced one.

Not really a fan of Audiolab, I would be inclined towards the Creek should go well with Missions, also the Arcam Alpha 9 if you can find a good one for reasonable price.

The Marantz 6005 is now around £200 so not a bad shout.

If you could hold out for a bit longer you can get the NVA P20/A20 pre and power for £300. I would seriously consider this and just save up a bit more.

The Monitor Audio A100 is available for £149. Decent reviews regarding sound quality, and has a very useful feature set including remote control, optical digital input, wireless streaming (Airplay, DLNA), USB charging for portable devices.
