Hi. I have a Yamaha As-701 amplifier and Cambridge audio bronze 2 speakers just single wired. When the volume dial is halfway it is insanely loud, my question is if I turn it up more could the speaker's blow? Thanks

And/or fry the amp and - possibly - do permanent damage to your hearing.

Why on earth do you want to turn it up further? Isn't "insanely loud" enough?

Get, or borrow a calibrated sound meter. Then check the peak levels you're getting at 1 metre in front of the speakers against your speaker sensitivity, amplifier power rating and speaker power handling specifications.

It's possible your "very loud" is peaking at 89 dbs - in which case you could turn it up more without damaging anything. It's also possible that your very loud is 109 dbs - in which case you should back-off on the volume.
