I struggle to see how any disc can "Fix Dropped Pixels" by which i guess they mean dead ones. But the thing doesn't seem to have done much for the clouding on that set!

But I guess it can't do any harm - presumably just a programme of colour patterns designed to even out screen burn should it ever occur. If you're really paranoid, you could buy one and keep it in the cupboard with the plasma regassing pump, I suppose, purely for peace of mind.

Oh you are living up to your name as you are 'ard!!!

Well definitely not going to get screenburn as not likely to get the flipping TV!!

I cashed in my ISA to pay off some bills and buy the TV and it turns out the idiot I spoke to gave me the wrong value and I have ended up with half the amount I was expecting!!!!

I am going to keep the LCD and put it in my bedroom (handy as don't keep well) and my plan was to get the PX80 for the living room. Can't afford it now though!

Never mind I am sure I will get it some time. At least I am prepared!

Any tips for a bet on the gee gees?!!!!

Bad news on the ISA Scotsgirl - and you were so close to getting the TV you really wanted! Well, keep saving and you'll get there... I know what it's like, just got my new speakers for my surround system but now saving for the new HD surround sound amp to go with them. Once I've got this, then there's the projector...

Then it's time to upgrade the TV again!!!

Thanks Prof.

It is disappointing but I am sure I will get it. Just hope it's not too far away.

Upgrade the TV? When I get my Plasma that's it for years. Don't want to go through this headache again for a long time!lol
