Pixel Check

Is there a quicker (and professional) way of checking dead or stuck pixel on a LCD screen ??

Assuming you already have your new tv, why check for problems if you don't notice any?

Indeed, ignorance is bliss on these things - I don't point out any I see on other people's TVs now as ever since I pointed one out to someone, he says he now can no longer watch his screen without seeing it and it annoys the hell out of him!
Best not to know!

Well, an automated system runs a series of test screens designed to highlight pixels stuck on white, black and each colour, and I guess with experience these people can spot them almost instantly.

BTW - and don't try this at home - they also thump the screen in various places to make sure the picture recovers after it goes all bleached out for a second after impact.
