Has anyone got one?

I've been reading all about it and planning and scheming ways of raising the cash for one.

Is it true it upscales all signals you give it - even VHS or your SDTV Signal?

It is superb, very good with stereo as well as surround sound. Just a shame they are in very short supply.

It will upconvert and then upscal your VHS - as will the majority of its peers.The Pioneer will not upscale your HDMI signals though. Dont let that put you off as it really is an excellent machine.

if your not gonna need to attach a tv and a screen go for the 71 no matter what they tell you on here your ears cant tell the differenc.. i would say though that if you use hdmi(of course you will) nothing less than a van der hul flat as this just adds the magic to the trick .

Yes Sadly one has to slum it and use VHS from time to time in these days of beta scarcity
