Hello people

My head is spinning on the TV front still and I have been looking at the pioneers (the mrs will be pleased, not!). I have read a bit about the buzzing from the TV's. Has anyone experienced this at all?? Is the PDPLX508D still the best tv out there?

Also, do the panasonics run quieter or do they buzz too?

ps: if you haven't guessed already i think im going to go down the plasma route

No the LX509 is. No problem with buzz with either my 42" Kuro or my folks' 37PX80.

cheers fuzzy. its a bit of a worry when you read about buzzing etc on tv's costing more than 2k!

Depends on the ambient noise in the room and how the tv is situated. Neither mine nor my folks' tv is wallmounted which also means you never hear the cooling fans as there plenty of room for heat dissipation. Also, some people are more susceptible to buzz than others.
