I had the Pioneer DCS-363 and was very, very pleased with the quality of this kit for the money. It wasn't reviewed by WHF but it was by another publication which gave it a full 5 stars. I purchased it for £270.00 from Superfi in Dec 07 and my mate who purchased the Sony DAVis10 for £600.00 (with the little dinky speakers) around the same time, swears that the Pioneer is better in terms of picture and sound. I couldn't agree more!
The upscaled picture to 1080i is better than what my Pana BD35 Blu-ray can do with regular dvd's. The DCS-363 is very stylish with neat speakers that do a great surround sound job - bear in mind what you're getting for the amount paid.
I would recommend this very highly and without any reservations at all. Oh yeah, the sub-woofer, although passive, is very good too.
