Philips 58PFL9955H price drop when?

Late 09 saw the Philips 56PFL9954 retail around £4500. By early 2011 it dropped to £999.

Will the Philips 58PFL9955H similar results or will the inclusion of 3d & led backlighting hold the price?

I think it was because of the arrival of LED back lighting and 3D as a general rule that the older version dropped so dramatically from it's original price, suddenly models of 50" plasmas and LED offering the next step in evolution for a lot less forced this products price down. I don't see the new model including these features to drop to this level IMO, of course it may come down a little in time.
