The lack of HDMI 2.1 is a killer for me, and particularly the lack of eARC within that. I would seriously consider this set otherwise, but I don't want to buy a new TV right now which is stuck with an old interface. And for this price, even though it is reasonable in comparison to its peers, I really think they should have integrated an interface to the current state of the art.

Also for me the lack of the eARC function is a serious lack, in 2020 I find it unacceptable. I want to be able to listen to the soundtracks in audio format dts hd master audio and in dolby true hd from the apps inside the tv.

with out earc, it might just as well be a B&W crt with no remote
