I've posted previously, without too much joy, about an issue with the Philips 32PFL9632D that I purchased in Nov 2007. After reading reviews in your mag on a vast selection of LCD's I decided on this set. Overall I am very happy but I have noticed a problem with the picture quality when watching certain programmes. A watery outline noticeable around people when moving. Is there one simple explanation to this, i.e. a setting. Thanks

Hi mate I've got this TV aswell and have experienced the same problem. It is the HD natural motion feature that causes the effect so disable that and the problem will go away. Sometimes it is fine on it seems to depend on the specific program. I have sky HD and have found that it is ok on most HD signals but is generally not great on standard definition. It is a shame because when this issue isn't present the HD natural motion is very good rendering motion judder virtually none existant. Anyway just thought I'd let ya know it can be solved and hope you enjoy your TV as I have - it is a great set especially with sky HD.
