Hi there,

I just bought the Ultimate guide to TV but was a little surprised to find no reviews of the new look Philips 9600 series, (I see you've got the older 9632s) in particular the 32PFL9603D. I noticed these in your news section a couple of weeks ago and love the styling but obviously want to find out a bit more about PQ before considering.

Its not just WHF - It seems generally there is a definite lack of info about these TVs. Some online stores will say 'in stock' but won't state price. Am I missing something?

So do you have any idea when we might get to see a review, I imagine its due to lack of test TVs. Apologies if I have overlooked previous reviews or posts.

Personally, I have not been overly impressed with philips.... not particularly good value for money when compared to other sets. And they have to create the gimmik of the "ambilight" in order to sell their sets. I think they should stick to electric shavers... and you should buy a panasonic or a pioneer

Thanks tom83cat. I know a lot about the Panasonics and also interested in the Sony w4000, but would like to at least a review of the Philips before taking the plunge.

Don't know much about the Pioneers, which would you recommend - bearing in mind I'm after a 32".
