PC connection / CD player for Yam AX396 amp ?

Hi all,

I'm new here ... We have the Yam amp, bought early 2000's, and a CD player, which is now broken. I need to be able to play CD's and connect a PC to play iTunes tracks. What do I need to buy ? I love the sound of the amp, which is hooked-up to JM Lab Cobalt 826 speakers. Do I need just a CD-player ? For the PC, I'm using a cheap cable ... should I upgrde it ? Are PC's a good source for playing iTunes, or should I use my iPod (whose interface isn't as easy to use as on the PC, when you have a lot of music ...).

I need some advice, I'm not really up to date on what elements, pricing etc, how to do this. We don't have any images, TV etc in the maiin room, where we listen to music.

by the way, are there CD/tuner/dock devices, that are a complement to my good amplifier ?
