So been viewing a few panny plasmas over the last few days and i dont know if its my eyes but the quality doesn't seem that brilliant...
I was watching SKY HD on a Panasonic Plasma and the blacks seemed too over powering for me... the colours weren't very good.. hard to describe.. It was a massive screen not sure of the model though..
Similarly, just played Pro Evo via PS3 on one and the picture was similar to this and a little bit grainy.. something was just off and frankly it looked awful...Maybe I have viewed LCDs for so long I have got used to it, but haven't been impressed with what I've seen of the Panny plasmas last few days.
Was set on buying a P42V10 before I experienced this - will definitely have a look at a demo now if Richer Sounds ever get one in stock.
Again, it has altered my opinion on what to get!! Requirements as follow:
BluRay/Divx TV Shows/Movies through SD Memory Card or other means
Playstation 3 - Not TOO MUCH use but would play it. Mainly shoot em ups and football games.
Lots of SD viewing till I get SKY HD
Size: 40-42" ... Budget: No more than £1,000
Might have to go back to looking at LCDs or even the new LED TVs!
