panasonic vs panasonic

Hey,

my parents have bought a new tv since i've been at uni, Panasonic Viera TX-L32X15B, but i couldn't understand why they didn't get the similar TX-L32S10B which is actually a bit cheaper but is 1080p. In fact most places i look the TX-L32S10B seems to be cheaper than the TX-L32X15B, which seems surprising considering the more expensive one is only hd ready rather than full hd.

Is there any reason why it would be more expensive?

You won't notice any difference between a full HD & HD ready TV at 32 inches. In fact, HD ready TVs are better for SD viewing.
