Panasonic TX37LZD85 LCD HDTV

Just received our second Panasonic TV from John Lewis (Tubes went on the first set within 4 weeks!)Set up TV and now I find we now have  a black line running through the screen 1 third of the way up!

What is a good alternative to the 37" Panasonic as we do not want a replacement.
Can anyone help!

Sony, Philips, Toshiba 40" ZF series, with slim and stylish bezel its not any bigger then other 37" TVs...

If you've room the 40'' Sony at 900 quid at Digi Direct would be the answer. I'm not sure if JL would price match it though.
