PANASONIC TX P42G10B noise

I have noticed a whirring noise when the sound is on low coming from the back of the TV.

There appears to be fans at the back whirring away constantly and it sounds like I am watching the TV in an air conditioned office.

Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced the same.

Hi

Right, your right about the fans in the tv, they are there to keep the system cool and running perfectly but in terms of the whirring noise, you are going to get some little noise but not a level thats un-exceptable, so the best thing i would suggest is that you contact Panasonic customer services, explain the problem and they should be able to get you in contact with a local Panasonic service agent who might come out and listen to the noise coming off the tv as they would know if its normal or excessive.
