This TV is a few weeks old and I've noticed two issues (when watching SD DVDs) that I don't know if they indicate a fault or if they are just problems inherent in all plasmas.

First is when watching a closeup of a face in dim light I can sometimes see several pixels flicker, causing what looks like a twitch on the face.

Secondly, I watched the movie Dead Snow, and in a scene where the camera pans from sky down though trees in snow the white snow between the branches flickers unnaturally.

Any comments/suggestions would be welcome.

Have you got any noise reduction settings active? Might be worth having a play with the settings. I'd update the firmware to the latest as this has solved many problems for people, even though the firmware is a few months old some of the new tvs are on the older firmware. If you Google 'G10 firmware 1.612' there is a link to download it.

I have a G10 connected to my router through an ethernet cable. If I do a software update via the television's menu, then I'm told that version 1.603 is up to date. What am I doing wrong here? Should I be updating my G10's software profile another way? If anybody can advise me it would be much appreciated...

i noticed something similar on my pioneer plasma when i got sky hd, was running the standard hdmi lead

i switched to a qed sr lead about £70 and the issues i had with the picture were solved, try borrowing a lead if you can before you buy
