Hi,

has anybody connected this set directly to the 220-240V mains and not via step-down transformer?

There were rumors in various places, I am curious if actually anybody did this.

Are you using this TV?

There is some reply from technician @ AVSForum saying that the power supply shall be a universal one.

Probably I will try to open and see what's inside
