Panasonic SCBTT755 - no sound with TV

Hi,

Just got my new speakers

But I cant get any sound from The AV channel when viewing sky. They work OK with the ipod.

I have a HDMI cable from the Blue Ray into the TV.
Do I need an Optical Digital Audio Cable from the Sky box into the Blue Ray?

Yes, you need to run an optical cable from your Sky box to the Panasonic's main system unit. You also then need to go through the settings of the Sky box to check it's outputting in Dolby Digital 5.1, rather than stereo.
