Panasonic PX80 Judder question

I have been searching high and low for a new tv but this seems to be the best value according to the reviews I have read.

I noticed judders when at a shop watching a sd dvd being played on a dvd player at the shop. Especially on panning. I went to another shop where a blueray film was being played and it was the same when panning. Is this a setting of some decription, I though the 100hz was supposed to stop this? Does any one here have one and can they confirm I was not seeing things?

Cheers

bil -i have the px80 an play dvds on a panasonic player with no judder problems . but i do think that to get the best out of the gorgeous px80 i need a dvd player (preferably a pana) with HDMI output to get the best images . As is the case with most HD sets -old scart dvd players just don't do the job any more .

The PX80 plays 1080/24p BluRay without introducing any telecine judder, as confirmed in the detailed technical reviews on other sites. So maybe the BluRay was outputting 1080/60Hz? which would then introduce 2:3 pulldown problems.

Thanks for the replies. There was a samsung 686 and a higher model 42 pz plasma on the same feed though that were not doing it, why would this be? If I go back to a shop and ask for the player to be changed to 1080/24p will this be possible?
