Panasonic PT-AT5000E on demo in Sussex?

Anyone know of any dealers in Sussex, East or West, that can provide a demo of this PJ?

I have demoed the JVC X30 and the Epson TW9000 and was really impressed with both but I feel I can't give the Panasonic a miss at this stage... It'll probably make the decision even harder than it already is but from what I have heard and read it may be the best option for my circumstances...

I will, of course, consider travelling further if necessarry...

Well Sevenoaks Sound & Vision stock the Panasonic - as you can see here

Could be worth contacting your nearest stores - list here - to see if they have it to dem.

Otherwise the Panasonic dealer finder may help, though it does only give you option to choose blanket term of 'home cinema' rather than specify projector stockists....

Than you so much Clare... That was pretty painless... I tried a few and the nearest was Sevenoaks S&V in Sevenoaks...

Panasonic store in Brighton have them but unfortunately no demo facility which is a shame...

Also Brighton SSAv have the JVC X30 on demo so I can refresh my memory after if necessarry...

I have to be honest the JVC really impressed me, however it may not be the most appropriate for me as gaming is a big consideration... My 360 will have to come along for the ride!

The best thing to do is to find a dealer that has all three on demo. I appreciate that might take a bit of time, and maybe some travelling, but you really need to see them all in the same circumstances in order to make a valid choice.

Yes you are completely right... there is no substitute for a side by side demo; especially when there are specific details involved.

If I were to be just using the PJ for movies only I think I would go for the JVC and a 2.35:1 screen and be done with it but I just feel that because I am going to be gaming as much as I can on it also, that I should to try the Panasonic as well...(3 LCD vs DILA)...

Do you have either or both by any chance?

Also i have heard of some individuals that demo these products at their homes but apart from that i can't seem to get any more details?

I have just purchased and set up the JVC DLA-HD350 and it is fantastic.

Got it from Richer Sounds for £1500 , total bargain for the money. I would go so far as to say if your not bothered about 3D this is all the projector you will ever need, for half the money!!
