Panasonic free Blu ray Disc Offer What a Joke

I was bought a Panasonic Blu Ray BD60 for Christmas as a presant, and there was a Blu Ray offer on that you got 6 free discs when you purchased it,Just have to goto panasonic web site and print the form off there,I did this filled it in and sent off with stamp addressed envolope,the form sayes give 6 weeks for delivery so waited until 6 weeks no dicss and call them up get a recorded message due to high demand there is a delay,sayes wait to end of Feb,So end Feb comes still no discs call again same recorded message but now stating end of march! So today I phone up again and manage to speak to someone, and get told that I missed the offer by 2 days even though the printed claim form from their web site sayes I was in date by over a month, At which point I am about to blow a fuse and told that they are trying to supply discs to people who missed the offer even though as I said before I have printed proof of there offer, but will be another couple of weeks. This means I have been waiting over 3 month if I get them.

Anyone else had problem gettting their free discs?

i had a simular offer on a sony blu ray player when i purchased it there was a leaflet to claim 2 blu ray dvd movies.

Looking closer to the offer it was out of date on the leaflet by 3 months

So i contacted sony to get some advise they fobbed me off with not there problem and speak to the retailer.

So i did went back to them and they advised not there problem as promotion by sony not retailer.

So called sony back and advised them retailer told me offer was by sony not the retailer.

Still no luck so i went to consumer direct and 1 week later got the 2 movies and a letter of apology from sony.

had to go through all this hassel its time these manufacturers pulled there finger out and stop giving there customers all this BS

i also took offer of the panasonic offer, there was a 3 month delay but i did receive the blu rays. Considering it was a free offer, i'm happy

Panasonic customer car is a joke I will be buying a new tv in the near future which was going to be panasonic but I think I will choose another make instead!!

I got my BD80 last October and received my discs about a month later.

At last, they have arrived only took 4 months !

Got mine after 1 month, stick with panasonic for your tv as I used to sell them (as well as sony and phillips in an independent retailer) and they were far and away the most reliable of brands as well as the great picture quality. Had my last panny tv and vcr for over 12 years now and still going strong! I now have the bd60 a freeview hard drive box and ptax200 projector from panasonic and all serve me very well.

and just wait and see what will happen if england win the
world cup, there has been offers of getting your cash back if you buy a tv
we shall see hmmm.
