Is it me or do these seem extremely expensive for what they are ??
The BW780 at £650 only contains a 250GB disk and the BW880 at £800 only a 500GB version. Had a look on the Japanese site the same versioned recorders contain 750GB and 1000GB HDDs respectively.
I know they are cutting edge kit, with twin HD tuners and a Blu-Ray recorder built in, but when I bought the DMR-EH60DEB nearly 5 years ago it was cutting edge then (first HDD recorder with freeview tuner built in, and a 200GB HDD which was massive at the time) all for £500
It just seems to me we are being a little short changed this time around.
Does anyone else feel the same regarding this??
