Does any one know if there is a way to make this player multi region for dvd's and or blue ray via the remote? Or will it have to be ' chipped '.

I looked into this as well, as far as i know you can make it multi-region for dvd's by buying a device, i think it is a one off remote, try ebay (just do a search) as for blue ray's i do not know.
