We have the following products - all Panasonic

Plasma TH50PZ70B

DVD Recorder DMR-EX87

Home cinema SC-PT850

Blu-ray DMP-BD35

Plus a Virgin Media cable box – Samsung SMT-2100C

We get sound through all speakers at the start of a blu-ray disc on the introductions but once you press play for the film to start only from the front speakers. (we set ext button to D-IN on the home cinema and audio button to digital stereo on blu-ray).

Is there a way around this so that we can enjoy all speakers?

Cabled as follows:

We have wired as follows

HDMI from plasma to blu-ray

HDMI from plasma to home cinema

Optical cable from blu-ray to home cinema

Audio out between plasma and home cinema

TV scart from cable box to A/V2 Ext on DVD

Settings as follows

Blu Ray player Menu Setup / Sound / Digital Audio Output

Dolby - Bitstream

DTS - Bitstream

MPeg Audio - Bitstream

BD - Video Secondary Audio - On

Setup / TV Device connection / HDMI connection

HDMI audio output - off

Home cinmea remote set to D-IN

Blu ray player audio button has choice of:

soundtrack 1 ENG DTS-HD-MSTR MULTI

soundtrack 2 DIGITAL STEREO

If we choose 1 – no sound

If we choose 2 - We get sound with commentary for hard of sight

Any help appreciated!!
