It's not bad if it includes a proper rack type stand. If they just mean the free stand that's included in the tv, then you can get a better deal.

If you ask John Lewis for a price match with Sound and Vision in Bolton then you should be able to get the tv for around £820 inc delivery and a free 5 year warranty. You'll need to buy an hdmi lead and the QED hdmi-p can be had for around £30-£40.

You will also have to set the tv up yourself, but it should be a peace of cake. Just use the THX optimiser found on some dvd's like star wars to get the picture settings spot on. Very very easy to use as well.

No Deal.

Save your money and but the Panny 37PX80 for less than £600. Best Buy 37" on this site.

Ta Folks

Yes it does include stand...one of those smoked black glass and fake alum jobbies!!!!!

The reason I'm leaning this way is that the sound is superb and i wouldnt have to buy a sound system yet.....but i WAS REALLY tempted by the 37PX80

Like Rewerb says the 37PX80 is a cracking tv for the money. And you could put the money saved towards a better surround system.

If your on a budget you might even be able to get a budget surround amp and some speakers for under £400. Or an all in one system from around £300. If your not bothered by surround sound theres always a budget stereo amp and speakers. All of these will be miles better than the sound on the 85 model.
