Ortofon OM3E

I have a Pro-Ject deck which is fittled with an Orfoton OM3E cartridge, I am right in thinking that I can upgrade the stylus to the OM10? If this is the case are the cartridges in the OM range identical with the only difference being the stylus?

Yes you are right, in fact i did exactly the same not so long ago upgrading to the better stylus. I believe the OM5E, OM10, OM20 up to OM40 can all work in conjunction with this cartridge. Although only about 10 quid more than the OM5E, the OM10 is a very worthwhile and noticeable upgrade, the sound is a lot richer and has more depth and bite - Go for it!
