Any plans for a review?

Ok......I'm not keeping up to news of late. :(

Note to self: read all pages of WHF lying in front!

Realised another damp squib: you'll need a TV capable of refreshing at 120Hz to make it theoretically possible. Some of the earlier TV models have this capability, but Kuro refreshes at 72Hz.

Oh well, maybe it's time to invest in a projector ;)

Do you think you would keep your TV as well then, if you got a projector? BTW - I got my brochure through - interesting stuff, cheers. I am expecting a call in the next couple of weeks, even though I said I didn't need one just yet.

My Kuro will stay with me for as long as it lasts. :) IF I decide on a projector, it will be only for movies. I'll wait for a couple of years until the 3D technology matures.

Reviews of the Optoma have been variable, with some reviewers even labelling it the "Best Buy". Let me know how you find it.

Hi bigboss,

If you can live without the 3D for a few years on a projector then you could look at the JVC DLA-HD350 for sale in Richer sounds for £1399.00

I had a demo of the Optoma HD33 and the JVC blew it out of the water picture quality wise.

So long as you are happy to do without the 3D.

Best purchase i have made in years,,,

but i still wouldnt get rid of the TV !
