Oppo BRP-93EU or BDP-95EU? And where can I demo one in the South West!!?

Hi everyone!!

I'm very keen on seeing/hearing the difference between the 93 and 95 Oppo machines but I will not spend my money on anything at that value without trying it first!! Ant opinions on the difference and anyone know if Oppo have any plans for selling within 70 miles of Somerset!!??

I searched the usual suspects last month (Sevenoaks etc) but they don't carry them and having sampled the Cambridge decks (which are very uninspiring!) I won't travel up to Bristol again at Richer Sounds!!

Our review of the Oppo BDP-95EU is on its way - will be in the next issue (posted out to subscribers on Friday week (24th); in shops/available as digital edition on 30th June.

As a preview, I can reveal that the '95EU does sound different to the '93EU - as you'd expect with the spec differences between the two....

I wonder if WHF could some day conduct an "old vs. new" group test? I appreciate you have a commitment to reviewing models currently available on the market, but that would be really interesting in light of discussion on some recent threads.
