Oppo 981HD Gapless MP3

Hello. I canºt use the oppo for gapless mp3 playback. Its very annoying with Pink Floyd, for example.

Does anyone know if its possible to use gapless mp3 in Oppo?

Presumably this is via an mp3 disc you've burned?

I doubt it very much, since when you create a data disc, you're not going to be able to tell your burning software that it's a gapless album, since as far as it's concerned, it's not an album at all in the conventional sense.

I suspect the only way round this is to create a monster mp3 file for gapless albums using Audacity or the like - unless anybody else can think of a quick way...

No, don't think so, despite some googling. The alternative is to burn an audio CD for pink floyd instead of an mp3 one?
