Opinions wanted, which VHS-/DVD-R/HDRecorder-Combi Panny Vs Tosh

Hi all
I'm planning to to buy an all in one Freeview/DVD-R/HD Recorder/VHS box.

Either
Panasonic DMR-EX98V

or the
Toshiba RD-X59DT

Any opinions on Panny Vs Toshiba appreciated,

whichever I go for will be linked up to 1080p screen 37"-42" (still to buy) although most of viewing will still be Standard Def.

I'm bumping this because I have the same question.

Thoughts on the relative strengths and weaknesses of these two models would be appreciated and also if the Panasonic is worth the extra money.

If the OP is still around it would be interesting to know what the outcome of any purchase was.
