Any of you guys done this? Been so carefull not to do this but it was inevitable, speakers seem ok though, would this of damaged anything?

A few weeks ago I was testing a new power amp and accidentally connected the CDP direct to it instead of the preamp!

Luckily this was through RCA out rather than XLR or I think damage would have been inevitable. It obviously could blow your speakers in the same way as listening at excessive volume always could. But if they seem ok, you're alright. Keep listening and hopefully there'll be no problems.

True Blue:Your ears??

And lo, as it was meant to be, so it was made so...

I was listening to some music with my headphones on a few weeks ago, late at night. My wife, who was in bed, appears in the doorway looking less than happy. Totally forgot to turn the sub off...
