Onkyo Home Cinema Package

I am moving house and thinking of purchasing the following Surround Sound Cinema system which is composed of:

- Onkyo TX-SR875 amp

- Onkyo DV-SP504 Universal DVD player

- Bose Acoustimass-15 III PWRD Speakers

They are providing it as a package here in Greece, will the DVD Player and the speakers work well with the TX-SR875 surround Amp (which reading your mag has won awards).

Some people love Bose, some don't. I'd go and have a listen to the system with the Bose and then a set of regular speakers within your budget and see what is good for you. Think you may be "wasting" the Onkyo 875 with the Bose myself.

The Onkyo with the Bose would surely be overkill, the Onkyo is a splendid receiver certainly worthy of something better. If you want a style speaker package look at the Kef KHT3005-SE. But personally, I would go for fullsize speakers.
