Onkyo DV-BR606

Hi All,

Have any reviews been posted anywhere on this device yet as I cannot find any?

I'm currently in the market for my first Blue Ray player and own Onkyo's 606 AV already and wondered if it would be a good investment to pair both Onkyo's or buy a cheaper model. It looks a little expensive for the retail price of £500, there a lot of cheaper players on the market that get fantastic reviews!

The 606 is £450 rrp not £500. We now have one on display playing through a Pioneer 5090 and the picture looks great - let's face it, most of them do. You might say that the Pioneer LX08 is expensive for £695 and many other cheaper models do the same or more, but it's well worth the asking price as it's the sexiest looking player on the market. Now if they can only produce an AV amp in the same styling.......

I am still searching for a propper BD player to replace my PS3 and Denon DVD3930 but as of yet have not seen any that are as good as my Denon for DVD/CD or multi-region for both BD and DVD, seeing as I have over 4000 DVD from all 6 regions this is a must and dont want to be limited to UK BD or region free BD software.
