Onkyo DS-A1X work with the apple i phone 3GS

Hello just wanted to know if i connected the Onkyo DS-A1X which is a i pod dock... with the apple i phone 3gs when attached to a onkyo tx-sr605 if it is compatable.

Cannot say if that particular combo would work but I have the DS-A2X and it works fine with my iPhone 3G.

(As does my ND-S1)
