Their new HIFI products are amazing and the A-9050 costs only $500 where I live and that's cheaper than both the Yamaha AS-500 and the Marantz PM6004 plus it has buit-in dac. Only wish they had been making them sooner. Expect fierce competition. I'm getting an A-9070 in a week. Tired of the Brio 3 and replacing it with 9070 beast. Four 15,000-microfarad capacitors and 1.2 mm thick copper bus plate. This thing is a TANK compared to my cheap Rega Brio 3.

Cypher, (or anyone else!),

Do you know if this is a class D switching amp or is it an 'old-fashioned' class AB amp. I can only see power quoted for 8ohms (75w) but no 4ohm figures? i have the 'budget' SACD player (another bargain, if you're asking) so this is does look promising!

Never go on expert reviews. Always look at the reviews from the people who has it. As they no all about it cos they live with it. as you see with the a9050 what hifi rates 4 star all owners 5 star. Banging amp.
