Onkyo 609 or 876???

Hi guys
I used to own the onkyo 507 and a set of Jamo A102 speakers unfortunately i don't own these anymore i am looking to get back into the home cinema club but on a very limited budget I'm probably buying second hand and have seen these two contenders onkyo 609 or onkyo 876 which is youre choice and why??? And also speakers to complement (again on a budget) cheers guys and girls in advance...

609. It might be half the retail price of an 876, but it is more stable and more up to date. It'll sound better with music too.

Thanks for that did hear the 876 had its faults seen both of them on ebay so going to purchase this coming week...looking on ebay for speakers too Tannoy HTS101 or Jamo HCS A102???

Small speakers will have limitations, but I think either of those packages should be fine. I haven't heard the Jamo, but I doubt there'd be much to choose between the two.

Thanks for the previous advice I got myself the Onkyo 609 with dongle in as new condition for a steal...i am stuck re the speakers though i have a limited budget and dont want great big ugly things around the room...suggestions please...previously owned jamo hcs a102 looking at something like Tannoy hts 101or Canton 90 or 130s
Please help got an amp here with no sound...
