Does the 506 switch HDMI, upconvert sources to HDMI and pass HD audio through HDMI? I want to keep wires to a minimun to the telly and would love for my kit to pass through the amp and then into the telly. I have limited space so can't stretch to a 606, does the 506 run very hot?
I have only 15.5cm H but 60cm depth and 50cm width, cabinet open at front and sides.
Is there any alternatives to the 506? Is the Yamaha 563 any good?
