onkyo 5009 query?

🙂 hi i have the onkyo 5009 amp and i want to do a 9.1 setup can you tell me if i was to buy van damme 4mm blue studio grade speaker cable would i be able to wire up a 9.1 setup using the cable on the onkyo 5009 or would the cable be to thick on the onkyo 5009 to do a 9.1 setup need help urgently thanks

You should be fine, if memory serves the 4mm is cross sectional area rather than diameter - there are a few members on this forum that use it, so they should be able to confirm. By all accounts it is damn good cable to boot!

Should be fine. I use it with my Onkyo 905. It fits into QED Screwloc banana plugs too.

the Van Damme cable will be fine

are you planning on extra wides or height channels btw

now the 5009 is audyssey pro enabled you can take advantage of a pro install, the difference it makes to using the Onkyo supplied microphone is a big step up
