I am looking forward to some more HD viewing. As for cables I shall pop along to my friendly Sevenoakes for a loan or demo of cables. I was lucky with my panasonic HDMI lead as this was a freebie with my purchase.

One thing that Dan the software engineer who ("knows that science proves that digital cables cannot differ in quality") failed to mention was, if he is so knowledgable, why did he buy THREE £80 hdmi cables when three out of the box ones would suffice??

We were the last delivery and the Installer was a good laugh. We made his day as he did not have to go out in the pouring rain. The box and card married ok it took about 30 mins for the HD package to come through with a quick view of Ice Age 2 to confirm it was working fine. It is the Pace model and the supplied HDMI lead is not too bad. It was tested on Movie Premier Run Fatboy Run that was quite a charming comedy. The level of detail was there I just found the colours were very strong and bright especially Simon Peggs Flat. I shall have to make some minor adjustments to the Telly. Does anybody else find the colours overpowering on the HD box?

Yeah, the colours are definitely richer in HD. It takes a bit of getting used to, and makes SD seem a little washed-out!

Just about to watch the chubby chappy jogging film myself. I'm a big fan of Simon Pegg, so hope it's up to hs usual standards.

Make sure you tune into (or set the timer for) Aquariavision on Sky Arts at 2am tonight. One of the best HD shows on at the mo. Very calming too
