Not a clue-1st post! Surround sound package for £200ish!?!

Large room bout 8metres x 5metres but need surround sound package for £200-300. any you can suggest?

Will be run with Panasonic TH-42PV500.

Know it wont be great with this budget but anything is better than nothing!

You can get a package for this price at richersounds.co.uk they start from £149 for the receiver and yamaha speaker package you just have to add a dvd player .

this is a separate system you would be better off going for this option than a home cinema in a box.

thanks for that. Do not want DVD player just speakers! so difficultto find cheap one without DVD player.

The system i mentioned does not include the dvd player only the receiver and speaker package for £149.99 you simply attach your existing dvd player to get surround.

With the extra £50 you can get some better speaker cable as they will help.
