I remain totally unimpressed by the Nordost mono-filament cables. I heard a system a few years ago wired with nothing but the Valhalla range and it was one of the worst sounds I've ever heard in my life - I was completely familiar with the kit being used and it was good stuff that was totally ruined. Nordost continue to make reasonable entry level cables, but over the last 10+ years whenever I have heard any of their supposed premium cables I have always thought them to be extremely poor. Their mono-filament cables are a bad joke, even more so given the prices Nordost are asking.

No i admit i havent heard them but i have had a good browse through the following Blind test of power cords

Just bought a Shiva on eBay. I will replace my Merlin Tarantula and if I don't like the Nordost I'll sell it on. I'm a firm believer in mains cables.
