noises from my panasonic th50px70

Hello, I'm just wondering whether any one out there is experiencing any problems with the panasonic th50px70.

I bought one 8 months ago and after having it on the wall for a few weeks I noticed some cracking noises coming from my set as it warms up and continues after switching off as it cools back down.

I had an engineer out who said there was a fault with the set and after lengthy discussions with my retailer I received a new set, which continues to do the same thing. Is this normal?

are you sure the mains cable is firmly plugged in? maybe try a different one just incase?
