My son wants a pair of wireless iems with noise cancelling of some description for Christmas.
What's the best, cheap ones, to buy?
Earbuds like this are not my forte as I always use wired and not cheap... 🙂

Wireless earbuds not my forte either. I think kids are more concern about, do I look cool in these?

Curry has a good deal on Soundcore IEMs, about £30-£40 cheaper than others. These are not bad, they stay on your ear and not those Oral-B ones.

Cheers, interesting.
Wonder what delivery time is like....

I use Soundcore bluetooth headphones more often, but I've used Soundcore Space A40 in-ears for a couple of years or so: they are quick-charging and have excellent battery life with the compact charging case, and they sound plenty good with and without ANC engaged. Most-important to me in IEMs, they are smaller than other brands I've used (Sony and Samsung only) and fit my pinnas very well. The Soundcore app is also one of the best available. These are nicer-looking, not just cheaper, than most -sort of like their music-loving owner.

Forgot to note my my most important requirement for wireless music: theses are LDAC-equipped.

Son reports them as " absolutely brilliant dad ", so guess I made the correct choice.
You nailed it! 🎯

I had not heard of Cambridge IEMs, maybe they don't sell many in mainland Europe?
Looking at how they're constructed, i expect they slide into the ear canal and create a good seal. I always wonder why they add noise cancelling to a design like this, or maybe it has no negative impact on sound quality anymore in the latest models. (I'm probably revealing my age when i say i prefer my IEMs wired, with sealing foam buds, and without ANC...)

You may be right. All of mine are wired with a balanced connection and, with the right earbuds, are perfectly adequate even on airliners. He, however, required wireless.
