My Sennheiser PXC300 have come to the end of there life thanks to the outer plastic casing fraying. So time for a new pair of headphones. Two on my list are Sennheiser 450’s at £140 or Goldring N5100’s at £90 both of which are good value given the recommended price. Sound quality is priority, anyone have experience with these headphones. I travel a lot so noise cancellation is important.

If you can really bag the Sennheiser PXC450 headphones for £140, go for it - they've been double Award winners when tested at £250! The Goldrings are a good budget alternative - noticeably smaller earcups than the Sennheiser, which may or may not suit smaller/larger lugs.

If it were my dosh, i'd stretch for the Sennheisers.
