No DSD, no Naim

I am not getting into a pcm vs dsd debate.
It was done and dusted over a decade ago.
Besides, I'm happy with any format as long as it sounds good.
just that some stuff is recorded and is readily available to download on dsd and I would like to have the option to stream the same.

No problem, don't buy the NAIM mu-so it doesn't support DSD.

I don't know, I said the blogger was independent.

As for the naim, yes I said early on it is not for me cos of lack of dsd.

Bloody hell, this forum is taxing.

one would have thought that a firware upgrade in the future may include DSD support. No reason why not, it's not like it requires extra hardware or owt...

Ah, but then why would people upgrade to Muso 2?

If you're talking about a replacement model, I wouldn't put Naim in the same category as the likes of Apple. Naim's product lines run for years. Unless something drastic happens to streaming/AirPlay/Bluetooth etc, I think you have more chance of a higher end model appearing with the feature.
