Stinker! I was looking to purchase the new Humax Foxsat Freeview HDR so I could view and record 4 HD and 5 HD.

As I already have the Humax Foxsat Freesat HDR and these two channels would not be included on Freesat. This was my solution to the problem.

But not now! 5 HD is now going to Virgin Media! And I aint paying over £300 just to get 4HD.

Sorry Humax, You have just lost a sale.

What about getting a 2nd hand Sky HD box, as 5 HD is a free to air channel I'd imagine you could receive it.

Just checked my box with card out. Could get BBC HD but not 4 or 5 HD. But it might work if you were to get hold of a deactivated card. Are you in a position to experiment with this without flashing your cash ?

Thanks for the advice. I had Sky and Virgin HD. Just got fed up paying through the nose. Thats why I went the Freesat way.

Would feel a bit of a cop out going back.

I wouldnt worry too much about Nemo in HD. CH5 always put loads of adverts on in the middle of any programs they show and I bet they split it with the news
