Next step in sound quality?

I would like to make a next step with a small budget to improve my audio- equipment.

Here's my set:

Imac with iTunes and 256 kbps songs

Sent over to Airport Express former version via Wifi 👎

DAC Fiio Taishan D03K connected to optical out of AE.

RCA cables to tape-in of Marantz CR 601 receiver.

Speakers: Mordaunt Short 902i on stands

Livingroom 4x7 meters

I'd be very happy to receive your comments and advice.

If you're happy with the speakers then I would consider adding a small sub. That is a fairly sizeable room you have.

That and adding spotify premium
